City Sketchbook Mural explores the relationship between architecture, memory and travel through a series of hand-drawn, ink-and-wash building studies.

Heritage clock towers, archways and colonnaded facades are rendered in loose, expressive pen linework, with selective watercolour washes picking out weathered stone, aged brass and pops of turquoise and coral. Sketchy construction lines and unfinished edges are left deliberately visible, giving the work the spontaneous, in-progress feel of an artist's travel journal blown up to architectural scale.

Loosely rendered botanical fragments and open, airy negative space break up the density of the buildings, letting each structure breathe against the wall while still reading as one continuous streetscape.

Rather than functioning as a single framed artwork, the mural acts as an immersive sketchbook wall—using linework, selective colour and scale to turn a plain wall into a wandering study of a city's architecture.
