Lumen Cascade reimagines the traditional chandelier as a sculptural architectural element.
At its centre is a strong circular form that establishes the visual geometry of the installation. Around the perimeter, individually suspended translucent elements descend at varied lengths, creating a layered cascade.
When illuminated, the textured surfaces catch and diffuse light, producing a soft glow around the circumference. The overlapping forms create rhythm and visual depth, allowing the chandelier to appear different from every viewing angle.
The circular geometry provides structure, while the irregular hanging elements introduce an organic quality.
