Op Art Head Sculptures explore the relationship between abstracted human form and graphic optical pattern through a pair of monumental, larger-than-human sculptural heads.

Each oversized head is wrapped in a continuous black-and-white striped pattern — one in tightly banded horizontal lines that follow the curvature of the form, the other in an intersecting, woven lattice of criss-crossing stripes that shift direction across the surface. The abstracted, faceless silhouette strips the form down to pure volume and contour, letting the bold pattern do the work of defining expression and presence.
