Tree of Life explores the relationship between craft, nature and architectural space through a richly textured, hand-tufted wall rug.

A sculptural tree rises from the centre of the piece, its gnarled trunk and branches rendered in raised, carved pile and crowned with a lush canopy of green foliage. Delicate birds and butterflies in soft pastel tones take flight from the branches, extending beyond the edges of the piece and onto the surrounding wall — blurring the line between the rug and the architecture that holds it.

Crafted using varied pile heights and hand-carved detailing, the piece has a warm, tactile, almost storybook quality, with dimensional leaf and drop motifs adding movement and depth to the lower branches.

Rather than functioning as a conventional wall hanging, the piece acts as a focal sculptural feature—using texture, form and scale to anchor a room and draw the eye as the natural centrepiece of the space.
